Often referred to as “the white city,” Amman offers a variety of sites despite its compact size. The city is dominated by the Citadel with ancient fortifications, where archaeological excavations revealed ruins from the Neolithic and Hellenistic periods. The Citadel includes structures such as the Temple of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace, and the Byzantine Church. At the foot of the Citadel lies the 6,000-seat Roman Theatre, still hosting cultural events today. Dinner and overnight stay at a 4* hotel in Amman.

25.10.2025 Amman – Jerash – Ajloun
After breakfast, we’ll meet the guide and head toward the ancient city of Jerash, located about 60 km north of Amman. Jerash has a rich history dating back to the Neolithic period. It became a city during Alexander the Great’s reign (333–331 BC) and flourished under Roman rule. Today, it is considered one of the most important and best-preserved Roman cities. Hidden under sand for centuries, Jerash has been excavated and restored over the last 70 years, revealing paved streets, colonnades, temples, theatres, baths, and fountains. The journey continues to Ajloun, where Roman Emperor Hadrian spent the winter of 129–130 and built an arch.

26.10.2025 Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo – Kerak – Petra / 271 km
Breakfast. We leave the capital and continue exploring Jordan, starting with Madaba – the City of Mosaics – and Saint George's Basilica, where in 1896 a mosaic map was discovered in the church floor, dating back to the 6th century. The two million colored stone pieces depict hills, valleys, and cities of the Holy Land. We head to Mount Nebo, located 800m above sea level. According to Jewish tradition, this is the mountain from which Moses saw the Promised Land – the Holy Land – but was not allowed to enter it. The journey continues through Wadi Moujeb to Kerak, where we’ll visit the castle dating from the Byzantine and Mamluk periods.
Dinner and overnight stay at a 4* hotel in Petra.
27.10.2025 Petra – Full Day in the Ancient City
After breakfast, we head to the Nabataean capital – Petra, also known as the Rose City, lost in the desert for over 1,000 years. Jordan’s greatest national treasure, Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 2,000 years of history and 800 monuments. Some archaeologists consider it the eighth wonder of the ancient world. Entry to the city is through a 1 km-long gorge flanked by tall rocks with fascinating colors and formations. The temples are carved directly into the rock, the most famous being “The Treasury” or Al Khazneh, carved in Hellenistic style, 42 meters high, and known for the final scenes of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. You’ll have the entire day to explore this gem of the ancient world.
Dinner and overnight stay at a 4* hotel in Petra.

28.10.2025 Petra – Little Petra – Wadi Rum / 115 km
After breakfast, we’ll visit Little Petra, known as Al Beidha (“the white one”) due to the color of its rocks. Little Petra, or Siq al-Barid, is an archaeological site north of Petra and Wadi Musa. Also Nabataean in origin, it features buildings carved into sandstone canyon walls, spread across three main open areas connected by a 450-meter canyon. It is part of the Petra Archaeological Park but accessed separately. The day continues with a 2-hour Jeep Safari in the Wadi Rum desert or the Valley of the Moon – a legendary and historic site associated with Lawrence of Arabia. Optional camel rides are available. Overnight in the desert – a unique experience to enjoy the starry sky and surrounding scenery.
Dinner and overnight at Hassan Zawaideh Camp in Wadi Rum (Deluxe Tents with private bathroom).

30.10.2025 Dead Sea – Leisure Day / Optional: Bethany – Amman
Breakfast. Free day for rest, sunbathing, and relaxing in the miraculous waters of the Dead Sea. Optional: visit to Bethany. In 1996, at the Jordan River in Wadi al-Kharrar Valley, Jordanian archaeologists found clear evidence that this was the place where Jesus Christ was baptized. The site is confirmed by biblical texts, pilgrims' stories, historical accounts, local Orthodox traditions, and the mosaic map of the Holy Land in Saint George’s Church in Madaba. “Bethany beyond the Jordan” refers to the eastern bank of the sacred river. In the Gospel of John, it is said that Jesus crossed the Jordan to where John first baptized. Ancient settlements along the valley confirm this. In the evening, transfer to Amman. Dinner and overnight stay at a 4* hotel in Amman.
